What is B-roll?

B-roll refers to supplementary footage that complements your primary video content. It can be captured by a separate crew, sourced from stock footage, or acquired through other means outside of your main production.

At Salvo Image, we prefer to film B-roll after conducting interviews with your subjects, ensuring that the additional footage aligns closely with the topics and themes being discussed. This approach enhances the visual narrative and creates a more cohesive final product.

Our space.

Stop on by and take a tour of our 8,300 square foot production facility inside the Sacramento Media Center that boasts a large studio for productions that need a vehicle or large set constructed, complete with floor to ceiling white pyske and green room. We also have a smaller studio for headshots and smaller group photos as well as sound recording studio, edit suites and awesome 1950's themed diner. Need hair and makeup services? You got it! We work closely with some of the most talented hair and makeup artists in the area and have a beautiful greenroom with changing area that can fit 15 people comfortably. Private tours available upon request, contact us for an appointment.

Custom fit

Sometimes videos run longer or shorter after multiple edits. Instead of having to re-compose, re-record or spend hours to re-edit the music track, we can adjust the music to the exact time we need to make your video epic.

Speech enhancement

We don't always get to record in the quietest environments. Now we can isolate our subjects voice in a way that sounds like was recorded in our studio!
